Lesley Saunders lives in Slough and Malmesbury. Her poetry has appeared in many journals and magazines, and she has published two pamphlets and three collections. She was awarded joint first prize in the prestigious new Manchester Poetry competition for a portfolio of poems in 2008; in 2011 she was highly commended in the Bridport and the Cardiff International Prize competitions, amongst others. Lesley was a founder member of the performance group The Bloody Poets and is currently a member of the Brickwork Poets. She has held several poetry residencies and is involved in various collaborations and commissions; she runs creative writing workshops and especially enjoys working with less experienced writers. Her new collection, Cloud Camera, is due out from Two Rivers Press in 2012.
